Teen Just AART Day (Teen Public Art Project)

A fun day that gives teens ages 12-19 the opportunity to be creative and add their personal touch to a teen centered mural designed by local artist Shari James. Just AART Day is free and open to the public. Patrons can also enjoy face painting, sidewalk art, raffle prizes along with live performances by Teens With a Purpose singers, musicians and youth poets.

Teens With a Purpose presents Just AART, an amazing live concert! This event was conceived as an opportunity to expose more young people to a broader tapestry of culture including music, visual and performing arts. This event will offer its audience the chance to share the stories about how art influenced the lives of young dancers, musicians, singers, poets and actors from all over Hampton Roads. Now in it’s second year, Just Aart is a powerful seasoon of Art and youth voice.
