Drive! A Teen Safe Driving Program

Drive: operate and control the direction and speed of a motor vehicle. The Drive program is also about Drive: being determined to attain a goal or satisfy a need. Teens with a Purpose invites teens to demonstrate their Drive!
Car accidents are the number one cause of death for teens in America. DRIVE will highlight the Hampton Roads community with the DRIVE to do better. There will be a DRIVE concert all songs and poems will be about either teen safe driving or having drive and determination to do better.
Car crashes remain the No. 1 killer of U.S. teens, taking over 3,000 young lives every year and injuring over 280,000. This deadly toll results, to a large extent, from lack of driving experience, but it also reflects the fact that the teenage brain is still a work in progress.
